Job Summary: We are looking for a diligent and experienced Cyber Security and Microsoft 365 Specialist to join our team in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive cyber security audits, reviewing and enhancing our network security measures, and ensuring robust protection protocols are in place. Additionally, this role will involve a thorough review of our Microsoft 365 suite, understanding current usage, and assisting in the implementation of new functionalities to optimize our productivity and collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, relevant certifications, and a proven track record in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cyber Security Implementation & Audit:
    • Conduct regular audits of user access rights across all systems and applications.
    • Review and assess the security of the company's network infrastructure.
    • Evaluate and strengthen password protection policies and implementation.
    • Implement and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
    • Perform frequent security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
    • Prepare and submit detailed reports on network security status, findings, and recommendations to the IT Director.
    • Stay updated with the latest cyber security threats and best practices.
  • Microsoft 365 Suite Review and Implementation:
    • Conduct a thorough review of IZ Energy’s current usage of the Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and other relevant applications.
    • Analyse current configurations and identify opportunities for improvement and enhanced functionality.
    • Assist in the planning and implementation of new Microsoft 365 features and services.
    • Provide support and guidance to end-users on Microsoft 365 applications.
    • Develop documentation and training materials as needed.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with the IT Director and other stakeholders.
    • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to IT strategy discussions.
    • Compose professional and clear emails and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Relevant cyber security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a cyber security role.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 administration and implementation, including SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Experience with access control mechanisms, authentication, and authorization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess current states and recommend improvements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organized.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in a multinational company or reporting to an international office.
